Position Summary

Oversees the department office’s day-to-day administrative activities.

Primary

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Serves as the primary department/business manager to internal and external contacts, responsible for overseeing finances, HR, IT and other related matters for department.
  • Manages/coordinates special projects and events.
  • Creates and ensures adherence to annual budget.
  • Supervises staff.
  • Acts as a liaison to IT and Facilities.
  • Manages office equipment inventory and ordering.
  • Resolves problems with standard IT infrastructure (computers, phones, displays, video conferencing).
  • Interfaces with building management, maintenance and janitorial staff.
  • Coordinates logistics of large meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range $49,700.00 - $82,100.00 / Annually The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
