This is a CONTINUOUS recruitment for an applicant POOL to fill full-time, temporary, hourly assignments on an as-needed basis. Departments or Divisions will refer to the POOL of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as the need arises. You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview. Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide clerical and reception support to Office of the Registrar and for related department activities. This is accomplished by answering the phone and providing information, directing callers and visitors to activities and information, processing forms and correspondence, filing, ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment, and researching and verifying information.
Other duties include entering information and maintaining records, mailing documents, and assisting with other general office activities.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalency.
Six months office/clerical related experience.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Computer literate in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a high profile, fast paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with electronic records management systems.
