This position creates a positive first impression for the agency. Responsibilities include operating a telephone console, handling incoming, outgoing, interoffice calls and routing calls or messages to appropriate individual. Receives and announces all visitors. Sorts incoming mail, correspondence and faxes for distribution. Performs Personal Lines data entry and routine clerical work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment handling multiple tasks.
- Requires working to established procedures and meeting deadlines.
- Must have customer service skills relating to people in a professional and courteous manner in person and over the phone.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills and the ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Must have basic knowledge of computer programs and office equipment.
- Type 35-45 wpm.
