Hours:
During academic year: 5:00-9:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. During 6-week summer session: 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Pay: $19.28/hour
Responsibilities:
Answer directional and general information questions; assist patrons with Library equipment and technology. Register borrowers and check out library materials. Refer questions to librarians as needed. Monitor public areas for safety and assist patrons in emergency situations. Gather statistical information. Shelve materials, assist with clerical tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma, 3 years public service experience; library experience preferred. Strong public service skills. Experience with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to use equipment such as scanners, printers, photocopiers, etc. Ability to handle and shelve books. Fluency in Spanish desirable.
