We are looking for a Data Entry Technician II who will provide data entry and clerical support to the medical claims processing unit.
What You’ll DoAt Solera, we believe in providing clarity and focus to the primary responsibilities of the role. The priorities associated with this role are:
- Responsible for Data entry of Medical Bills into IMS IMPACT software for further review and analysis by the Medical Bill Audit Team.
- Obtains missing claim information as appropriate.
- Follows client-specific data entry policies.
- Some phone answering, document management, WC-1 data entry, and other clerical duties.
Prefer two or more years of proven competence in data entry or clerical field. Candidates must demonstrate keen attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Position requires keen ability to perform multiple tasks under very tight deadlines. Claims must be processed within contractual time frames. Failure to perform essential job functions efficiently and accurately creates delays in other related claims processing functions within the unit which could ultimately result in untimely product delivery and the loss of clients.
Requires 50 wpm and 95% accuracy in data entry/typing. Must be flexible and adaptable to changes in policies and procedures, as business needs dictate. Ability to sit for multiple hours at a time and to work multiple hours a day at a computer keyboard. Ability to remain alert and focused during the workday. All other related and/or additional responsibilities that may be required or assigned.
