Duties
Assists with planning, preparing, and supporting meetings and conferences.
Answers routine telephone inquiries, and/or refers to the appropriate staff. Communicates face to face with customers, by email, and with video conferencing technology such as Microsoft Teams.
Provides administrative support for organization by preparing reports and other documents utilizing various types of programs and automated information systems.
Gathers information by coordinating with various offices. Compiles data for reports such as budget execution, program management, quality management, training status, and a wide variety of routine tracking, analysis and reporting products.
Creates travel requests for the organization through an automated travel site in accordance with statutory requirements outlined in the Joint Travel Regulation.
Coordinates travel arrangements, resolves discrepancies involving travel methods, appropriate types of leave while on official travel, and overtime and reimbursement errors.
Prepares travel documents for Temporary Duty (TDY) Assignment, Permanent Change of Station (PCS), and invitational travel orders. Researches travel modes and accommodations, performs cost analysis, and recommends most efficient method of travel.
Assists supervisors and other staff with questions regarding personnel related matters.
Provides assistance to employees with various types of office automation to include printing and faxing. Retrieves documents, drafts correspondence, reviews documents for correct formatting, and transmits finalized reports.
