Dr. Aaron McCright (mccright ) in the Department of Sociology seeks applicants from current MSU undergraduate students for an hourly employee position (as an undergraduate research assistant) to start immediately and continue throughout September and October (and perhaps into November).

$17.50 per hour for an estimated 80 total hours

Working in a dedicated office space in Berkey Hall, the UGRA will perform the following project tasks:

• record handwritten responses from mail questionnaires into an online data file;
• double-check and confirm the accuracy of a percentage of recorded responses for quality control purposes; and
• preserve the integrity of all mail questionnaires in a secure manner.

• current enrollment in an MSU undergraduate program
• ability to work independently
• very careful attention to detail
• availability to work 15-20 hours each week

• prior experience as an MSU UGRA
• coursework and/or major in social science
