Facilities Management Student Assistant

Job Summary:

This role will be supporting the facilities management mailroom and receiving & distribution center.

• Receives, unpacks, checks, and records the receipt of goods.
• Stores goods in proper storage places.
• Receives delivery orders.
• Withdraw goods from stock.
• Checking for required commodity, size, and lot.
• Receives signed delivery ticket.
• Assist with assembling stock items in accordance with a computerized requisition.
• Assist with packing shipments and loading goods.

• Assist with Delivery ofmail stops at University Departments.
• Assist full time clerks with large mailings: non-automated presort standard, nonprofit, and periodicals.
• Return and sort mail for university offices.
• Do tabbing for both automated and non-automated mailings.
• Assist in the redirection of mail for students who have move to another room or off campus.
• Assist in the Pickingup of packages or envelopes.
• Act as messenger when required to pick up package or envelopes from campus departments.

• Current ESU Student
• Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 40lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• experience in customer service.
• Ability to skillfully complete clerical work.

• Hourly Rate $15.00
• Up to 20 hours per week subject to change.
