Administrative Assistant

Ascent Engineering Group is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to fill a position of Administrative Assistant. This job will include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the offices, answering phone calls, assisting in scheduling meetings and events, carrying out administrative duties such as filing, typing, and copying, etc. This position will also include assistance with business development materials utilizing the Adobe Acrobat suite and working with the Marketing Manager as well as handling and processing reports, submittals, and the like.

Requirements include appropriate software knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point. Experience with the Adobe Acrobat suite, namely InDesign is preferred. This position is available in our Roanoke or Richmond office in Virginia.

Ascent Engineering Group is a consulting engineering firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and low-voltage systems design for K-12 schools, higher education, and a variety of municipal projects.
