The Customer Service Correspondence Clerk is responsible for all correspondence paper/electronic lockbox return mail across the Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) network. Duties include but are not limited to the distribution of mail. Will ensure timely assignment of correspondence/mail to team members. Acts as a liaison to the customer service/collections team while performing other duties as assigned.
Education,
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a related field.
- Some business experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Excellent computer skills, preferably including but not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Education,
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Hands on basic knowledge of the EPIC system.
- Bilingual English./Spanish a plus.
- Previous experience in the same or similar capacity in a hospital.
- Experience in working in a high volume office environment.
- Customer Service skills.
Licenses and Certifications
Required:
- Successfully pass EPIC assessment completion within 30 days after Network access granted.
