Position Overview
The County Administrative Assistant is a member of the staff of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension (NCCE). The County Administrative Assistant's primary responsibility is to provide support to the County Extension Director and other staff as assigned. The County Administrative Assistant cooperates with colleagues in the NCCE and county leaders in performing assigned responsibilities. The performance of assigned responsibility is governed by the philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the NCCE.

Responsibilities include providing administrative support for the County Extension Director and other staff in program areas including Agriculture, Natural Resources, 4-H and Family and Consumer Science.
Position interacts with other county departments (Human Resources, Finance, Budget, etc.) to ensure effective relationships with county government.
