Job Summary:

  • The Secretary plans, organizes and provides support to meet the needs of the department.
  • Assists with daily patent scheduling
  • Assists in the scheduling of inpatient clinics, as well as maintain direct communication with outside vendor as directed by inpatient therapy supervisors
  • Maintains outlook calendar, coordinates meetings and appointment for Director of Inpatient Therapy
  • Maintains, organizes and orders general office supplies
  • Maintains, organizes and orders pyxis supplies
  • Maintains detailed and accurate department & program committee meeting minutes
  • Assists department with completion of facilities, IT & biomedical work orders
  • Assists with the coordination of patient durable medical equipment orders
  • Effectively and professionally communicates with staff and administration
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented
  • Maintains databases and prepares reports for both internal and external reporting and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years of special secretarial schooling or equivalent experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • High level of confidentiality
  • Ability to perform data entry
  • Ability to manage schedule
