Position Overview
Working in our state‑of‑the‑art service departments, the Service Advisor acts as the go‑between for Service Technicians and customers. You will explain the Technician’s recommendations to customers in clear, easy‑to‑understand language and suggest up‑sell opportunities that keep vehicles running safely.
What I Do Every Day- Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers to ensure a great service experience.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and the customer satisfaction index.
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival.
- Determine vehicle needs through customer information, vehicle walk‑around, inspections, and test drives.
- Use a consultative selling process to help customers plan for ongoing maintenance.
- Create repair orders, including transparent cost and time estimates.
- Communicate regularly with technicians and parts associates to keep work on schedule.
- Follow up with customers on vehicle status based on their preferred contact method.
- Follow up again to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop deep product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience that drives loyalty.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Ability to set and reach targeted goals.
- Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Willingness to follow up with customers.
- Experience and desire to work with technology.
- Valid in‑state driver’s license and a clean driving record.
This position’s pay range is $50,000 to $120,000 annually.
