Jerry’s Auto Group is growing, and we’re excited to be opening our new Jerry’s Sales, Service & Collector Cars location in Sioux Falls!

We’re looking for an experienced B or C Level Automotive Technician to join our new service team. We’re seeking someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work and is comfortable handling maintenance, diagnostics and a variety of automotive repairs.

This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of our new Sioux Falls location while joining a family-owned company that has been serving the region since 1979.

• Perform routine maintenance, vehicle inspections and general automotive repairs.
• Diagnose and repair brake, steering, suspension and basic electrical systems based on experience and skill level.
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, batteries, filters and other preventative maintenance.
• Complete brake repairs, alignments and other light to intermediate mechanical repairs.
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.
• Identify needed repairs and communicate recommendations with Service Advisors and management.
• Use diagnostic equipment and shop tools safely and properly.
• Work alongside experienced technicians on more advanced repairs and diagnostics as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Participate in training and continue developing your technical skills.

• Previous automotive maintenance or repair experience preferred.
• B or C Level Technician experience preferred
  , but we’re willing to consider motivated candidates with a strong mechanical background.
• Basic to intermediate diagnostic and automotive repair skills.
• Experience with brakes, steering, suspension, maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
• Electrical and diagnostic experience is a plus but not required at an advanced level
  .
• ASE Certifications are a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn and continue advancing your skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical duties associated with automotive repair.
