West Broad Volkswagen is a trusted dealership dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. West Broad VW is part of Page Auto Group which has proudly served the Richmond community for nearly 50 years.
Position SummaryThe Service Advisor is the main point of contact for service customers, providing outstanding customer service while clearly communicating vehicle needs, repair recommendations, timelines, and costs.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- Schedule service appointments and manage customer flow
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document service needs
- Explain recommended maintenance and repairs in a clear, customer-friendly manner
- Prepare repair orders with accurate estimates and obtain approvals
- Provide timely updates on vehicle status and completion times
- Maintain high customer satisfaction (CSI) standards
- Answer phone inquiries regarding appointments and vehicles in service
- Deliver completed vehicles and review services performed
- Ensure repair orders are properly documented and closed
- Follow dealership, manufacturer, and safety guidelines
- Communicate concerns to the Service Manager
- Refer sales opportunities to the Sales Department when appropriate
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Automotive or dealership experience preferred, but not required

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in automotive service preferred.
- Previous experience in a service advisor or similar role in a dealership.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures.
- Ability to follow federal, state, and local regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
