Position Overview:Courtesy Chevrolet, a Courtesy Automotive Group dealership, is seeking an Express Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality vehicle maintenance services. The ideal candidate will have previous experience at an automotive dealership, a strong understanding of the service drive, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following, as well as other responsibilities as needed.
Candidates must have their own tools. This position will be 5 days per week on a Monday-Saturday schedule.
- Check and Communicate Oil Level: Inspect and communicate oil levels to teammates.
- Ensure Tire Pressure:
Verify and adjust tire pressure for proper inflation. - Inspect and Refill Fluid Levels:
Conduct refills as necessary. - Complete Vehicle Inspection:
Perform thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues. - Oil Drain Plug and Filter Installation:
Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter during oil change procedures. - Clean and Lubricate Fittings:
Clean and lubricate fittings as needed to ensure optimal performance. - Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service, prioritizing our customer's perspective.
- Must have your own set of tools
- CDK, XTime and General Motors experience preferred
- Previous experience at an automotive dealership.
- Strong understanding of the service drive.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic computer competencies.
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
