Service Technician – Automotive Service & Repair
Our Client is seeking a skilled and dependable Service Technician to perform automotive maintenance, inspections, installations, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs. This role is responsible for maintaining vehicle safety, reliability, and performance while delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
The successful candidate will combine strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail, troubleshooting ability, and a commitment to safety and customer service. The Service Technician will work closely with team members while following established safety, quality, inspection, and repair procedures.

Compensation
: $34.00 per hour
- Perform routine automotive maintenance, including oil changes and scheduled maintenance services.
- Install automotive parts, components, and related equipment as required.
- Inspect vehicles to identify maintenance, service, and repair requirements.
- Perform tire maintenance and related automotive tire services.
- Ensure vehicles are properly serviced and maintained according to established safety and quality standards.
- Inspect, service, and repair steering systems.
- Diagnose and repair suspension components and related mechanical systems.
- Inspect, service, and repair brake systems to ensure safe vehicle operation.
- Perform general automotive mechanical repairs and maintenance as required.
- Identify mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair or service requirements.
- Install, replace, and service automotive batteries.
- Troubleshoot basic automotive electrical systems and components.
- Identify electrical issues and recommend appropriate repairs or component replacements.
- Follow established procedures when servicing vehicle electrical and battery systems.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests when required.
- Verify that maintenance and repairs have been completed correctly and safely.
- Follow established repair, testing, inspection, and vehicle return procedures.
- Maintain a strong focus on workplace, customer, and vehicle safety.
- Follow company quality standards, operating procedures, and applicable safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of automotive tire maintenance and repair procedures.
- Ability to perform hands-on mechanical and automotive service work.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must hold a valid automobile driver's license.
- Ability to safely operate customer and company vehicles as required.
- Ability and willingness to obtain A.S.E. certifications within the first two years of employment.
- Testing and registration fees for required A.S.E. certifications are company-sponsored.
