Auto Body Estimator Trainee

Archie’s Collision Center is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collision Estimator Trainee to join our collision repair team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone interested in building a career in auto body repair estimating. We will provide hands‑on training to help you learn how to inspect vehicle damage, prepare accurate estimates, communicate with customers and insurance companies, and support the repair process.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspecting vehicles and documenting collision damage.
• Learn to prepare accurate repair estimates using industry estimating software.
• Take clear photographs and maintain complete repair documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers, technicians, parts vendors, and insurance representatives.
• Help explain repair estimates and timelines to customers.
• Monitor repairs and update estimates when additional damage is discovered.
• Support parts ordering and repair planning as needed.
• Follow company procedures and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain an organized and professional work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of vehicles or an interest in collision repair.
• Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Previous automotive, customer service, sales, or insurance experience is helpful but not required.
