View Shop Details## Responsibilities
* Work side by side with a certified Automotive Technician and will learn to repair engines, steering and suspension, automotive HVAC systems, and much more
* Build experience and skills as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
* Perform State Inspections
* Perform routine maintenance procedures including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, etc.
* Perform honest, clear, and complete multi-point vehicle inspections in service to our guests
* Work as part of a team to solve technical problems quickly and effectively
* You will use your skills to get vehicles ready for our customers, ensuring they are safe and reliable
* Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
* Working together with other technicians you will solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver great results## Qualifications
* A strong motivation to learn a mechanical service career path
* Attending an Automotive Program or recent graduate preferred
* Some knowledge and experience in repairing vehicles preferred
* Shows a high level of interest, willingness to learn, and embraces new ideas
* Good communication skills and strong attention to detail
* Self-motivated and exemplifies a positive attitude
* A valid driver’s license##

Physical Requirements
* Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
* Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
* Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
* Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
* Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
* Drive manual transmission vehicles
* Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
