Buying Assistants should have strong communication and organizational skills. This person will be instrumental to the buying team by managing and executing all the tasks related to as in creation. Primary responsibilities range around all aspects of managing as in creation. This involves intense and repetitive communication with vendors, image center and our fulfillment center community. Also pulling data queries, working on large amounts of data in Excel, and ad hoc reporting as needed.

The ideal candidates will have a background in retail or e-commerce. They must be able to work in a highly demanding, but collegial environment where teamwork is essential. Successful candidates must be highly organized and have good computer skills (Excel and Word). They will also be flexible, action and results oriented, self-starting and comfortable with computer databases and tools. The ability to solve problems using creative thinking and innovation are a plus.

• Business Administration

• 2+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or related field
• Experience with order processing and purchase order management systems, using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or inventory management software
• Demonstrated experience working with global teams and managing cross-region logistics operations
• Track record of implementing process improvements in a fast-paced supply chain environment
• Proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
