This position is responsible for helping direct the functions of the Conservatory Music program; ensuring program quality and youth safety at all times; serving as a role model for youth; and ensuring a positive experience for campers. Also performs a variety of housekeeping duties for the Conservatory Music program; cleans restrooms, offices, and other camp facilities; washes, stores, and distributes linens and camper laundry.

• Provides quality music instruction to campers.
• Prepares students for recitals and concerts.
• Washes camper's laundry and returns to the counselor.

Ability to read and hear music notes.

Ability to meet attendance requirements.

Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.

Some physical requirements of the Camp Jr. Music Instructor/Housekeeping position could be endurance, including climbing, standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching.

Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are required to operate music equipment and perform activities.

Requires a normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities/programs, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Have a willingness to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours delivering a program in the facility available.

Operate in daily exposure to sun, heat, and varying environmental conditions.
