Responsibilities
  • 1. Strategic Sourcing & Cap Ex Optimization
    - Asset & Category Strategy:
Architect and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for high-capital categories, including long-term warehouse leases, general contractors for facility build-outs, Material Handling Equipment (MHE/Automation), and contingent workforce ecosystems.

    - Market Intelligence & Financial Modeling:
Conduct in-depth market analysis and build sophisticated financial models (TCO, ROI, NPV) to evaluate investment scenarios, driving data-driven asset selection and resource allocation across the US network.

    - End-to-End Deal Structuring:
Manage the full lifecycle of complex RFI/RFP/RFQ processes. Transition from identifying requirements to stress-testing supplier capabilities and structuring commercially viable deals.
  • 2. Complex Contract Negotiation & Commercial Management
    - High-Stakes Negotiation:
Manage commercial and contractual negotiations for high-value, multi-year agreements. Focus on securing favorable terms related to pricing, agility (e.g., expansion/termination clauses), service levels, and structural risk mitigation.

    - Legal & Commercial Partnership:
Partner closely with internal Legal counsel to draft, review, and finalize complex contracts, particularly in commercial real estate (BTS/Leasing), construction, and enterprise staffing.

    - Lifecycle Governance:
Establish a robust contract lifecycle management (CLM) framework, driving compliance, executing change orders, and capturing value through strategic renewals.
  • 3. Strategic Vendor Ecosystem & Performance Management
    - Partnership Ecosystem:
Serve as the primary commercial owner for strategic infrastructure partners, cultivating executive-level, collaborative relationships.

    - Governance & Continuous Improvement:
Implement a rigorous supplier governance framework. Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to monitor performance, address operational bottlenecks, and identify opportunities for structural cost reduction.

    - Risk Mitigation:
Proactively manage multi-dimensional supplier risks, ensuring strict adherence to contractual obligations, insurance mandates, and rigorous safety (EHS) standards.
  • 4. Cross-Functional Management & Business Partnering
    - Influence Without Authority:
Act as the "commercial CEO" of your infrastructure portfolio. Work hand-in-hand with Real Estate, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to drive alignment on multi-million dollar project timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.

    - Strategic Advisory:
Serve as a trusted business partner, providing executive leadership with commercial expertise and market intelligence to guide strategic decisions on network expansion and operational design.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualification(s)- Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a MBA degree.

    - Experience:

3+ years of solid pre-MBA experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Real Estate Finance, Commercial Procurement, or Supply Chain Infrastructure.

Exceptional capability in building financial models and cost analysis trackers. Proven track record in structuring and managing high-value deals or complex capital projects.

    - Strategic Negotiation:
Mastery in articulating value propositions and executing high-stakes negotiations across diverse categories (e.g., Real Estate, Construction, Equipment).
  • Preferred Qualification(s)- Bias for Action & Ambiguity Navigation: A self-starter with a "builder" mindset. You excel at taking ambiguous business goals, framing a clear commercial strategy, and diving deep to ensure flawless execution.
