The Opportunity

Core Weave is hiring a Senior Community Affairs & Partnerships Manager to lead community engagement across assigned markets and help strengthen the company's social license to operate.

Reporting to the Director of Community Affairs & Partnerships, the successful candidate will advise senior leadership on local risks and opportunities, build relationships with government and community stakeholders, and ensure community considerations are incorporated into site selection, permitting, construction and operations.

The role sits within Core Weave's Legal and Government Affairs team and will work closely with Government Affairs, Communications, Legal, Development, Operations, People and other functions.

What You'll Do Community Engagement & Stakeholder Strategy

Lead cross-functional community engagement strategies across assigned markets, aligning stakeholder engagement with business objectives, permitting milestones, construction schedules and operational priorities.

Build trusted relationships with:

  • Elected officials
  • Community leaders
  • Faith-based organizations
  • Nonprofits
  • Unions
  • Business groups
  • Other local stakeholders

Represent Core Weave in community, political and public forums while identifying emerging issues and developing appropriate engagement and escalation strategies.

Provide Community Affairs input into site selection and project due diligence.

Assess:

  • Community sentiment
  • Political dynamics
  • Local opposition
  • Reputational risks
  • Emerging community concerns

Translate these findings into practical recommendations for business leaders.

Community Benefit Agreements

Lead the development and negotiation of Community Benefit Agreements while coordinating with Core Weave's Incentives, Legal and Development teams on PILOTs, RDAs and similar development agreements.

Partnerships & Community Investment

Identify and oversee local partnerships and community investments aligned with both business objectives and community priorities.

The role will also collaborate with Core Weave Cares and Employee Action Networks to direct employee-driven community initiatives toward communities where Core Weave operates.

Reporting & Performance Management

Establish KPIs and provide senior leadership with concise reporting on:

  • Stakeholder alignment
  • Community sentiment
  • Partnership outcomes
  • Local risks
  • Community opportunities

The position will also manage budgets covering engagement activities, events, sponsor ships, partnerships and community investments.

Requirements Core Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Affairs, Political Science, Urban Planning or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in community affairs, stakeholder engagement, social performance, public affairs, government affairs or external relations.
  • Experience supporting data centers, energy projects or other large-scale critical infrastructure.
  • Experience with permitting or entitlement processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex stakeholder strategies across multiple markets.
  • Experience translating local developments into clear business recommendations.
