As a Colombian Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving success and innovation. Our work depends on a Colombian Analyst joining our team to serve as a natively fluent language specialist with a cultural background in Colombia to support a social media program in Tampa, FL. The preferred candidate will have the ability to read and write in a Spanish dialect native to the specified area, and proficiency in indigenous languages such as Wayuu, Nasa Yuwe, or Embera is a plus.
HOW A COLOMBIAN ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT- Develops and maintains expertise with designated regional issues and draws upon publicly available online information resources.
- Reads, analyzes, and drafts communications regarding regional and ideological discussions in specified foreign language media environments.
- Examines current media statements or postings to support trend analysis and identifies key communicators.
- Demonstrates reading and writing expertise in the assigned language and incorporates custom social media solutions to comprehend online environments and communicate trends effectively.
- Supports operations planning and demonstrates knowledge of online social media and different technologies.
- Documents activities, notes, informative papers, or whitepapers written in English.
- May require the ability to work nonstandard hours and be on-call for periods of time.
- Some travel may be required.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required; extensive experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Experience:
- Requires 5+ years of related experience.
Security Clearance Level:
- Minimum DoW Secret clearance required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Native fluency in Spanish dialects specific to Colombia.
- Ability to read and write in indigenous languages such as Wayuu, Nasa Yuwe, or Embera is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret regional and ideological discussions.
- Expertise in online social media platforms and technologies.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Ability to document findings and produce informative papers or whitepapers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic operational environment.

The likely salary range for this position is $77,350 - $104,650. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
