The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business needs, gathering and documenting requirements, and supporting the delivery of solutions within the healthcare domain.

This role brings strong expertise in Broker and Shopper workflows and partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure solutions align with organizational objectives, regulatory standards, and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and supporting documentation.
Provide domain expertise in Broker and Shopper workflows to inform solution design and implementation.
Conduct impact analysis and identify gaps between current-state and future-state business processes.
Collaborate with development, QA, and project teams to ensure accurate understanding and implementation of requirements.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining test scenarios and validating deliverables against documented requirements.
Facilitate workshops, requirement reviews, and stakeholder meetings to communicate findings and progress.
Ensure alignment with healthcare regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Support Agile delivery teams by refining requirements and managing priorities across multiple initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
Strong experience within the healthcare domain, including healthcare systems and business processes.
Functional expertise in Broker and Shopper domains.
Proven experience in business analysis, impact analysis, and requirements documentation.
Familiarity with system integration concepts and data flows.
Experience working in Agile environments, including backlog refinement and sprint-based delivery.
Proficiency with tools such as JIRA for tracking requirements and workflows.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA.
Knowledge of insurance, benefits administration, or enrollment systems.
Experience using Agile collaboration and documentation tools such as Confluence.
Experience supporting large-scale or enterprise healthcare initiatives.
