JMAN Group is a fast-growing data engineering & data science consultancy. We work primarily with Private Equity Funds and their Portfolio Companies to create commercial value using Data & Artificial Intelligence. In addition, we also work with growth businesses, large corporates, multinationals, and charities.

We are headquartered in London with Offices in New York, London and Chennai. Our team of over 450 people is a unique blend of individuals with skills across commercial consulting, data science and software engineering.

We were founded by cousins Anush Newman (Co-founder & CEO) and Leo Valan (Co-founder & CTO) and have grown rapidly since 2019. In May 2023 we took a minority investment from Baird Capital and in January 2024 we opened an office in New York with the ambition of growing our US business to be as large as, if not bigger than, our European business by 2027.

The primary focus of all our Consultants is to deliver high caliber commercial & technical solutions for our clients across our 5 core solutions:
Due Diligence, Core Reporting, Data & AI Advisory, Value Creation, and Prep for Exit.

As a Senior Consultant at JMAN, you will lead complex client work streams and projects end‑to‑end, acting as a trusted partner to senior client stakeholders. You will take accountability for problem framing, delivery quality, and commercial impact, while guiding teams to deliver rigorous analysis and actionable recommendations.

From the outset, you will play a critical role in shaping engagements, influencing strategic decisions, and contributing to the growth of key client accounts. You will also be a visible leader within the firm, supporting the development of junior consultants and contributing to firm‑building initiatives across the US business. This role is suited to individuals who combine strong consulting fundamentals with leadership capability, commercial judgment, and a desire to take on greater responsibility and influence.

Key responsibilities for Senior Consultants include:

• Lead and deliver complex client projects or multiple work streams end‑to‑end, across both structured and exploratory engagements
• Take accountability for project delivery, including problem definition, analytical approach, quality of outputs, and timelines
• Translate complex analysis into clear, commercially grounded recommendations that drive measurable client outcomes
• Own senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to decision‑makers and proactively managing stakeholders
• Structure ambiguous, high‑impact problems and guide teams using hypothesis‑led, first‑principles thinking
• Oversee and coordinate global delivery teams, ensuring consistent quality, alignment, and pace across regions
• Lead the development of high‑quality materials and presentations that influence senior executives and investment stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to extend engagements or expand client accounts, supporting commercial growth
• Play a key role in firm‑building initiatives, helping shape how JMAN operates and scales
• Coach, mentor, and develop junior team members through active leadership and feedback
• Take ownership of your professional development while contributing to the development of others

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• 4+ years of relevant experience, ideally in consulting or professional services, with demonstrated progression
• Proven experience leading projects or multiple work streams with accountability for outcomes
• Strong track record of high performance, leadership, and client impact
