Global Trade Intern

Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Global Trade department is based in Fort Myers, Florida and includes team of trade compliance professionals. Arthrex is actively searching for Global Trade Intern to join Global Trade team. The successful candidate will assist Global Trade team with various departments projects (Import duty mitigation and recovery, creating Business Intelligence (BI) tools and reports, Global Trade Share point update) as well as completing documentation and fulfill related functions necessary to process Arthrex’s import shipments.

This internship will run from January 2027 – April 2027. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 20-30 hours per week at our Fort Myers, FL facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Global Trade management with Import duty mitigation and recovery.
• Assist Global Trade management with Global Trade Share point update.
• Assist Global Trade management with Business Intelligence tools and reports.
• Assist Global Trade team with regulatory data load and validation.
• Assist with writing process documents, newsletters, editing business outreach communications.

Education and Experience:

• Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Political Science. (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.)

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite required.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment

Skills:

• PC;
  Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook;
  PowerPoint;
  Word and Excel. Fax;
  Scanner.
