Performs entry-level administrative and operational support work for the Financial & Business Services Branch of the Financial Management Division (FIN). This position works closely with division leadership, including the Director and Deputy Director, providing high-quality coordination, communication, and organizational support while gaining exposure to executive-level operations, strategic initiatives, and business administration. The intern serves as a key partner in supporting leadership priorities, maintaining professional communications, coordinating meetings and events, and ensuring timely follow-up on assigned activities.

Employees at this level perform assignments under general supervision and are expected to demonstrate professionalism, discretion, reliability, and strong customer service skills.

General Intern Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative, operational, and project support to leadership and assigned initiatives, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Coordinate and support meetings, events, and leadership forums, including scheduling, agendas, briefing materials, notes, and follow-up actions.
  • Develop and maintain professional communications, presentations, reports, and executive-level materials.
  • Draft, edit, proofread, and manage correspondence and communication content for a variety of audiences.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, and reference guides.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, AI, automation tools, and digital solutions to improve business operations.
  • Analyze business processes, operational data, trends, and metrics, identifying opportunities for efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, visualizations, and recommendations to support leadership decision-making while handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Must be a student in high school or other educational institution or accepted into a college, university or educational institution.

Other Conditions:

Must be at least 16 years of age, a student currently enrolled in high school or any institution of higher education to include a trade/vocational school.
