About the roleWe are looking for a highly systematic Head of Product to own monetisation and retention for one of our core D2C subscription products. You will work on a single product and be fully responsible for growing its ARPU, retention, and subscription lifetime value - owning the product roadmap and working directly with the Managing Director, engineering, and data.
You will own the full product lifecycle, from roadmap through to delivery, working hand-in-hand with engineering, UI design, data, and marketing - with AI tooling as a core part of your workflow. The bar is high and so is the upside - performance here is directly and significantly rewarded, and strong operators take on bigger scope fast.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Roadmap & Strategy: Define and own the product roadmap, translating business objectives, user insights, and competitor analysis into a clear, prioritised build plan.
Monetisation & ARPU Growth: Own product ARPU (D7/D30) with a target of 15% quarterly improvement. Drive pricing and packaging strategy through structured experiments, and identify untapped monetisation opportunities prioritised by revenue impact.
Retention & Engagement: Own retention targets and reduce churn. Build engagement loops that increase product usage and subscription lifetime, acting on drop-off and friction points surfaced in cohort analysis.
Developer & Engineering
Collaboration:
Partner directly and daily with the engineering team. Write clear, technically rigorous product requirements and specifications. Participate in sprint planning, architecture discussions, and technical trade‑off decisions.Research & Data-Driven Decisions: Conduct continuous discovery with target users. Define product metrics, instrument analytics, and turn qualitative and quantitative insights into well‑scoped decisions and structured experiments.
UI/UX Ownership: Own the product experience across all core modules, making critical UI/UX decisions and ensuring a cohesive, intuitive, high‑converting end‑to‑end journey.
Growth
Collaboration:
Work with CRO and marketing to align product decisions with traffic, positioning, and messaging. Contribute to launch planning, onboarding flows, and feature‑adoption strategies.
Product Management: 5+ years in product management for D2C subscription products (web-to-web, web-to-app), including 2+ years in a senior or lead PM role.
User Journey & Quality: Deep understanding of consumer user journeys and of how to build a high-converting interface that feels native to the user.
Monetisation & Retention: Proven track record growing ARPU and retention with measurable revenue outcomes, including pricing experiments run end to end.
Analytics: Proficiency with product and financial analytics tools and data (e.g. Mixpanel, Tableau) to define funnels, track feature adoption, and surface actionable insights.
Experimentation: Experience designing and interpreting A/B tests, feature flags, and rollout strategies.
AI Tooling: Active daily use of AI tools (Claude or equivalent) to accelerate concept, analysis, and prototype work.
Digital Advertising: Exposure to the digital advertising ecosystem (Meta Ads, Google Ads) is a bonus.
