Analyst Relations sits within Business Communications, helping industry analysts understand our technology, enterprise products, and how organizations put them to work.

We are looking for a Head of Analyst Relations to build OpenAI’s global analyst relations program and help influential analysts understand our enterprise products and the business outcomes they enable. You will set the narrative and engagement strategy, focusing on the firms and categories that shape enterprise buying decisions. This is an exceptionally fast-paced, hands-on role. You will shape long-term positioning, advise senior leaders, and lead our participation in priority evaluations, briefings, and analyst engagement around launches.

You will build trusted relationships while bringing Product, Research, Marketing, Sales, and Communications together to make decisions quickly and deliver exceptional work under tight deadlines. This role reports to the Head of Business Communications. This role will be hybrid, in office 3 days a week, ideally in the San Francisco Bay Area; flexible on New York based candidates.

• Set the global analyst relations strategy, prioritizing the firms, categories, and questions that shape enterprise technology decisions.
• Lead OpenAI’s work on priority evaluations, from deciding where to engage through submissions, demos, and customer evidence.
• Build a coherent enterprise narrative across a fast-moving product portfolio, grounded in what ships, customer outcomes, and responsible deployment.
• Develop trusted, candid relationships with analysts through substantive briefings, regular updates, and follow-through on their questions.
• Turn analyst feedback and competitive context into useful counsel for product and go-to-market teams, and track whether our positioning and analyst understanding improve.
• Build a repeatable program with an evaluation calendar, briefing materials, approved customer references, and clear measures of relationship strength and evaluation outcomes.
• Prepare executives and spokespeople for significant analyst moments, and help Communications and Sales use third‑party research accurately in external and customer conversations.

• Deep analyst relations experience in complex enterprise technology, including ownership of major evaluations.
• A record of building programs with clear priorities and strong relationships, then turning analyst insight into useful counsel for the business.
• Excellent judgment about what an analyst report says, what evidence supports customer and competitive claims, and what must remain confidential.
• The credibility to work with technical leaders and make a sophisticated platform story clear to analysts and enterprise buyers.
• Excellent writing and executive counsel skills, with the ability to align teams without formal authority.
• A proven ability to move quickly between strategy and hands-on delivery under tight deadlines, while measuring progress through relationship strength, message understanding, and evaluation outcomes.
