Store Manager, Operations Management

Position Objective:
The Store Manager is expected to meet the qualifications as outlined below. This position is a vital part of the overall success of our organization as a manufacturer of animal feed and nutritional products and services. This person will be responsible for driving the success and profitability of the location. Serving as the key liaison between upper management and store staff, you will facilitate effective communication and ensure alignment with company goals.

You will oversee daily operations, ensuring all employees perform their duties efficiently and to company standards. Additionally, you will ensure staff have the necessary resources, training, and support to fulfill their roles effectively. Your leadership will be vital in creating a positive work environment, maximizing store performance, and achieving sales targets.

The objective of this position is to oversee and manage all clinic operations, with primary responsibility for safety, delivering high-quality care, time management, good communication, managing staff, and optimizing clinic efficiency.

• Handle customer requests regarding products and services
• Provide product advice, recommendations, pricing and customer history
• Support AP Automation and prescription labeling software
• Develop and maintain schedule for multiple veterinarians
• Prospect new sales opportunities to expand services and customers
• Cooperate with outside sales staff about customer opportunities and provide referrals
• Provide vets and nutritionists with customer leads, opportunities and current information
• Maintain appropriate supplies and inventory levels to support customer requests and needs
• Count and reconcile inventory levels to ensure minimal loss
• Properly staff retail operations
• Assist Veterinarians, if necessary, (Small Animal Services)
• Maintain store business hours including weekends, if applicable
• Additional projects required or directed by the Inside Sales Manager.

• Strong customer service experience
• Demonstrated experience in livestock health and animal agriculture
• Knowledge of Veterinary and Nutritional services
• Enhanced office, computer and Microsoft experience
• Ability to work and maintain an office schedule of Monday - Friday during normal business hours
• Must have reliable transportation and hold a valid Driver's License

• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and legs
• Ability to safely lift objects and products, up to 25 - 50 lbs.
• Ability to listen and understand instructions and information
• Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical equations
• Ability to communicate and give direction in a team environment
• Ability to drive a forklift and understand safety directions and give instructions
• Ability to handle a light dust environment and higher than average noise levels
