Procurement Intern

You’ll work alongside experienced procurement professionals, build practical skills, and gain a better understanding of how wood procurement, log valuation, contractor relationships,data collection, and process improvement support our mill operations. If youenjoy working outdoors, solving problems, and learning how logs move from theforest to the mill, this could be the summer opportunity for you!

This position requires youto be on-site to perform the job duties and ideally the candidate will start inMay 2027 and be available from 4-8 months.

• Salaries starting from $3,700 per month (based on your year inschool and previous experience).
• Temporary living allowance for interns moving to the area forthe role.

• Gethands-on exposure to wood procurement and the role it plays in supporting mill operations.
• Assist withlog valuation and stumpage acquisition activities.
• Learn howstrong relationships with logging contractors support safe and efficient operations.
• Collect and organize data to support procurement decisions and day-to-day activities.
• Contribute to process improvement projects while learning from experienced procurement professionals.

• You are currently enrolled in a recognized university or college program relatedto forestry, natural resources, or wood products processing.
• You have abasic understanding of workplace safety rules and regulations.
• You are physically able and willing to work outdoors in hot or inclement weather conditions.
• You have avalid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
