Agility’s commercially deployed humanoids operate alongside teams in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers—tackling physically demanding and repetitive tasks while enabling workers to focus on higher-value work. With industry-leading safety standards and years of proven deployment data, we're pioneering a new era of automation that enhances human potential.
About the RoleWe are seeking a Staff Hardware Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive cross-functional execution and alignment for our next‑generation hardware platforms. This role manages the complete hardware product development lifecycle from early concept and product definition to detailed design, build execution (EVT/DVT/PVT), validation, commercialization, and General Availability (GA).
About the Work End‑to‑End Hardware Lifecycle OwnershipFull‑Lifecycle Leadership: Own integrated execution planning and delivery tracking across all stages of hardware development (Concept → Architecture Definition → Detailed Design → Proto/EVT/DVT/PVT Builds → Mass Production & GA).
Critical Path Management: Define, track, and manage the integrated master schedule, dependencies, hardware build readiness, and critical path milestones across hardware, firmware, and release streams.
Risk & Mitigation: Proactively identify program risks, long‑lead component bottlenecks, resourcing gaps, and technical trade‑offs; drive mitigation strategies to keep programs on track.
Cross‑Domain Alignment: Serve as the central coordination point across Product, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), Firmware (FW) and SW teams
Design & Architecture Alignment: Facilitate interface alignment, system‑level trade‑off discussions, and structured technical review cycles across hardware and software disciplines.
Build Execution & Validation: Coordinate prototype build bring‑up, joint HW/FW integration, and system validation (EVT/DVT) testing cycles to ensure functional and quality gates are met.
NPI & Operations Integration: Partner closely with New Product Introduction (NPI), Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to track component readiness, tooling leads, vendor deliverables, and factory build execution.
Design for Excellence (DFX): Ensure DFM/DFA/DFT requirements are integrated into early mechanical and electrical detailed design phases.
Cost & BOM Tracking: Manage program level tracking for BOM health, unit economics, tooling capital expenditure, and vendor execution dependencies.
Business & Service Alignment: Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Services, and Field Operations teams to align delivery schedules with launch readiness, field support structures, and commercial milestones.
Executive Transparency: Drive regular operational reviews, maintain program dashboards, and communicate status, trade‑offs, and critical escalations to executive leadership.
Greenfield & Scalable Systems: Build and refine scalable hardware governance, gate‑review processes, and execution frameworks tailored for rapid scaling.
Continuous Improvement: Post‑build retrospectives to elevate predictable execution across development cycles.
Experience: 10+ years of technical program management experience leading complex hardware products through full lifecycle development (Concept to Volume Production / GA).
Domain Expertise: Strong deep‑dive familiarity with Systems Engineering, Architecture development, HW, SW and test. Demonstrated track record working with product requirements and managing early development.
Cross‑Functional Reach: Proven success collaborating…
