An active, health- conscious family in Lynnwood is seeking a professional, engaging nanny to become a valued part of their family and help care for their two young children- a sweet 2.5-year-old daughter and a happy 5-month-old son. This long term position is ideal for a confident, experienced nanny who enjoys creating structure and routine while embracing an active outdoor lifestyle.

The family is hoping to find someone who is resourceful, self-sufficient, an excellent communicator, and excited to grow alongside their family over the next 2-5 years. As they hope to welcome a third child in the future.

This warm, hands-on family is highly motivated, active and deeply involved in their children’s daily lives. Both parents work from home from dedicated home offices and value having a nanny who is confident working independently while maintaining open communication. They live on a lake and spend as much time outdoors as possible, so a love for nature and an active lifestyle are a must!

Because of their waterfront home, the ideal candidate must be a strong swimmer and comfortable supervising the children around water.

The family values structure, consistency, manners, and respectful boundaries while creating a fun, loving environment where their children can thrive. There beloved Toy Australian Shepherd and two indoor cats are very much apart of the family, so the ideal nanny will also enjoy being around pets. They are looking for someone who naturally takes initiative, anticipates needs, solves problems with confidence and truly becomes part of their parenting team.

• Creating and maintain consistent daily routines while remaining flexible to children’s needs
• Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities with an emphasis on outdoor play and exploration.
• Providing attentive, nurturing care for both children while supporting each developmental stage.
• Children’s meal preparation and assisting with family dinners if time allows.
• Restocking children’s supplies and helping keep their space organized.
• Tidying the kitchen and loading/unloading the dishwasher
• Marinating clean, organized play areas
• Communicating regularly and professionally
• Taking initiative, anticipating household needs, and working collaborative as part of the team.

• 2+ years of professional childcare experience (infant experience required)
• CPR certified (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Strong swimmer and comfortable around water
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and an excellent problem solver
• Ability and desire to make a long-term commitment (2-5years)

SCHEDULE:Tuesday or Wednesday: 1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.;
Thursday & Friday: 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (approximately 24 hours/week)
