We provide child well-being services to help children live in a safe and nurturing environment. We provide services to parents needing education and guidance to improve their parenting skills so their children can remain with them.

We also provide services to children who are placed with foster families until they can return home or become part of an adoptive family.

Our experienced professionals provide the following services to families in Milwaukee County and at locations throughout Wisconsin.

Job Summary
  • Under the direction of the Family Support Manager, supervises the delivery of service to clients for supervised visitation. Oversees day-to-day operations, quality improvement initiatives, staff development, performance monitoring and participates in the development of budgets. Articulates the vision and mission of the Agency internally to team members and externally to clients.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field required.
  • Master's Degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in a related field such as early learning and care, case management, child welfare or child and family counseling required.
  • Previous experience in supervision and training preferred.
  • Previous experience with program and financial management preferred.
  • Experience with MA billing preferred.
  • Previous experience with public/private partnerships and customer interface preferred.
  • Experience working with families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds preferred.
  • Must use personal vehicle to transport children, complete in-house car seat transporter training within one month of hire and re-train biannually thereafter to maintain.
  • Previous experience in supervision and training strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in organization, time management, goal and priority setting.
  • Demonstrated focus on customer service and continuous quality improvement.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of family support philosophy and strength-based service delivery approaches.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of child abuse and neglect prevention principles, models, strategies and methods.
  • Ability to support para-professional staff through case consultation, with recipients of service, and through staff development and training.
  • License Driver's License - State of Wisconsin required.
