# CYFS RespiteMORRISVILLE, VT 05661## Overview Salary Range $17.50 - $17.50 Hourly## Description## Position Summary The CYFS Respite Provider offers temporary, short-term care for children and youth receiving Children, Youth, and Family Services (CYFS). Respite services give parents, caregivers, and foster families a break from caregiving responsibilities while providing children with a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.## Essential Responsibilities
* Provide safe and appropriate supervision for children and youth.
* Engage children in age-appropriate activities at home or in the community.
* Encourage positive social interactions and healthy development.
* Follow each child's care plan and agency policies.
* Communicate with caregivers and CYFS staff as needed.
* Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
* Report concerns or incidents promptly.
* Attend required trainings and meetings.## Qualifications## Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Experience working with children is preferred.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Ability to pass required background checks.
