- Grain Valley, MO 64029, Odie’s Playhouse is seeking a toddler teacher (ages one & two) to provide children with a safe and nurturing environment that encourages their social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. If you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of today’s children, this position may be for you.

• Employee Medical & Dental Insurance available the first of the month after 60 days of employment and ONLY a $1,250 deductible

• Interacts with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
• Plans individual and group activities to develop self-esteem and stimulate growth in language, social, and motor skills such as learning to listen to instructions, playing with others, and using play equipment
• Presents expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level
• Instructs children in practices of personal cleanliness and self-care, which help to create habits of caring for own clothing, picking up and putting away toys and books
• Completes 12 clock hours of professional in-service training annually

• High School Diploma or GED or an equivalent

• CPR – Certified
• First Aid Training
