# Full-time Spanish-Speaking Nanny for Two Children – Greenwich Village## OverviewA welcoming Smart Sitting family of four is seeking a warm, experienced Spanish-speaking nanny for their two children, a 5-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son, in their Greenwich Village home. The family is looking for someone nurturing, reliable, playful, and proactive who is interested in a long-term position and enjoys becoming a trusted part of the family’s household.

This is a collaborative position working alongside two other nannies, so strong communication and teamwork are important. The family has a housekeeper and weekly cooking support, allowing the nanny to focus primarily on the children and their daily routines. The anticipated start date is late September, with flexibility for an earlier start or a start as late as mid-October.###

The Ideal Candidate for this Job The ideal candidate is warm, engaging, responsible, and confident with young children. They should have significant professional nanny experience as well as a background or experience in early childhood education. The nanny should be comfortable establishing appropriate boundaries, engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, and creating a structured but nurturing environment.

Native or fluent Spanish is required, with a willingness to speak Spanish consistently with the children. The family is looking for someone who takes initiative, is organized and adaptable, and works well as part of a team. A college degree is a plus, and the family would particularly value someone who sees themselves as a positive role model for the children.

The nanny must also be a confident swimmer and comfortable traveling domestically and internationally with the family.### Schedule The schedule is full-time (40 hours) and requires flexibility. Afternoon weekday + weekend availability required. Nanny will make their own schedule to be built in alignment with the other two nannies.

Core Schedule Certain weekdays from 3pm–7pm or 3pm–8pmSome weekends from 10am–7pmOn evenings when the family needs later coverage, the nanny's hours will shift accordingly. Some weekend availability is required, and occasional overnights may be helpful but are not a regular requirement.

Travel is required during the summer and a few times a year when they travel for one-two weeks at a time.### About the Children The 5-year-old is outgoing, highly verbal, social, and very attuned to her peers. She is sensitive and has a big heart, and she enjoys engaging with the people around her.

The 2-year-old is at an active and engaging stage of early childhood and will benefit from a nanny who enjoys creating enriching activities, encouraging development, and providing consistent routines and boundaries.### Responsibilities Responsibilities will include school and preschool pickup, transporting the children to and from activities, planning and facilitating age-appropriate activities, coordinating playdates, preparing meals and snacks, and managing the children's afternoon and evening routines.

The nanny will help keep the children's belongings and schedules organized and provide attentive, hands-on care throughout the day. Because the family is looking for someone who can work collaboratively with another nanny and household staff, clear communication and a team-oriented approach are essential.### Additional Information Before applying, please be sure you:
