Distribution Inspector

Volt Path Energy is seeking experienced Distribution Inspectors to support overhead and underground electrical distribution construction projects across Texas. You will serve as the owner's representative on active distribution sites, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with utility standards and project specifications.

• Inspect distribution construction activities — overhead and underground lines, poles, transformers, services, and conduit
• Review and interpret distribution construction drawings, unit routing, and utility standards
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and utility representatives
• Document daily field activities, punch lists, and inspection reports
• Identify and report safety hazards and non-conformances
• Support energization and service restoration activities as needed

• Must currently be eligible to work in the United States of America
• Minimum 6+ years of overhead and/or underground distribution construction experience
• Familiarity with utility construction standards (e.g. Oncor, AEP, CenterPoint)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Texas
• Willing to work long hours in remote locations
• Must pass a drug screen test
• Must pass a background check and driving record check
• Strong communication and documentation skills
