Senior Building Envelope Consultant

This is a building envelope consultancy working across roofing, facades, waterproofing, and exterior systems on commercial, residential, and institutional projects. They work closely with owners and design teams to solve technical challenges around building performance and durability. The environment is collaborative and hands on, with direct access to senior leadership and a clear focus on developing expertise and progressing within the business.

Leading building envelope projects across a range of sectors

Carrying out condition assessments, leak investigations, and forensic evaluations

Reviewing drawings and specifications for performance and constructability

Attending site visits and carrying out quality assurance inspections

Preparing technical reports, recommendations, and client presentations

Working closely with owners, architects, and contractors

Supporting projects across multiple locations when needed

Mentoring junior team members and contributing to team growth

5+ years of experience in building envelope or enclosure consulting

Experience across roofing, waterproofing, facades, curtain wall, and air or water barriers

Background in investigations, assessments, and remediation work

PE or RA license preferred or working toward it

Strong communication skills and client facing experience

Comfortable managing multiple projects and supporting junior staff
