Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000

We are currently looking for an Project Engineer to join our team. The Project Engineer position is an entry-level position in the Operations Department. The Project Engineer is expected to learn the business of construction through each assignment that supports and assists the project staff. The Project Engineer may be assigned to support and assist estimators, project managers, superintendents, or other project staff.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree preferred

• Perform quantity take-offs as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain bid set of documents. Post changes to plans and specifications.
• Receive, log, prepare, and distribute requests for information (RFI). Review RFI questions and answers with supervisor for appropriateness and potential changes.
• Receive, log, prepare and distribute submittals. Review submittals with supervisor to ensure conformity to Contract Documents. Pursue timely receipt of submittals and advise supervisor of late submittals.
• Assist supervisor with reviewing and preparing change order proposals and change orders. Perform quantity take-offs to assist the Project Manager with verifying change order proposal amounts.
• Pursue information required from Superintendent needed for release of materials or equipment for project.
• Maintain project set of documents. Post all revisions to plans and specifications to ensure that they reflect all changes.
• Track material and equipment deliveries in concert with overall project schedule. Advise supervisor when orders are in jeopardy of being late.
• Assist project staff with preparing and updating schedules, which may include Preconstruction Schedules, Preliminary Construction Schedules, or Master Construction Schedule Updates.

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds from ground level to waist level.
• Frequent standing and walking required throughout a scheduled work shift.
• Must be able to bend, squat, and kneel occasionally throughout a scheduled work shift.
• Must be able to perform simple grasping and fine manipulation tasks with both hands.
• Acceptable corrected vision (in both eyes) and acceptable corrected hearing required.
• Must have the ability to work on uneven surfaces.
• Must be able to work outdoors in wet, muddy, cold, hot and humid weather
