If you have a passion for holding the powerful accountable and a digital-first mindset that ensures your investigations reach people wherever they are, we want to talk to you. Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Own the investigation:
  Dig deep into complex issues, from government accountability to consumer advocacy, and turn them into compelling, multi-platform narratives.
• Contribute daily:
  Maintain a high-energy pace by providing daily investigative updates, enterprise "quick turns," or digital-first content while working on your long-term deep dives.
• Drive digital engagement:
  You won't just "post" your stories; you'll build digital-first experiences using interactive elements, social video, and web-exclusive deep dives.
• Cultivate deep roots:
  Build and maintain a robust network of sources and whistleblowers who trust you to tell the stories that matter.
• Respond with urgency:
  While you’re a long-form specialist, you’re also a journalist first—ready to jump in with authority when breaking news hits.
• Collaborate for impact:
  Work closely with our legal team, producers, and digital staff to ensure every investigation is bulletproof and broadly distributed.
• Master the craft:
  Shoot, write, and edit your own content (yes, you’re a pro with a camera and EDIUS) to maintain total creative control over your vision.
