WHEN DOES THIS POSITION BEGIN (AND END, IF APPLICABLE?- JOB PURPOSE:
The Music Department Photographer / Videographer captures and edits visual content for use in marketing and publicity of departmental events. This federal work study position is supervised by the Performance Events Coordinator.

- Responsible for visiting classes, ensemble rehearsals, and / or music performances to safely capture video and / or photography from a distance while not disrupting musicians
- Ability to assist with multi-camera livestream set-up and operations during performances
- Provides edited video and / or photography for use in department marketing materials in a timely manner
- Use captured content to create reels for social media
- Weekly meetings with the Performance Events Coordinator and/or marketing team to discuss current projects, upcoming tasks, and deadlines
- Candidate must have access to their own camera(s) and editing software, and be familiar with both
- Ability to provide portfolio and/or links to samples of previous work
