Primary Responsibility: The Social & Video Content Creator produces video and graphic content for social media and supports day-to-day social calendar execution across the organization's brands and platforms. This is a content production role focused on filming, editing, and visual storytelling, with on-site coverage of events during peak season. This role is structured to scale up hours/output during shoulder (April-June; November-December) and peak seasons (July-October) and scale down in the off-season (Jan-March).
Scope of Work:
Off-Peak (Nov–Jun)
- Light social content creation and posting cadence
- Occasional planning shoots or evergreen content batching for use both off and peak season
Peak season (Jul–Oct)
- Increased shoot and edit volume to support presale launches, event promotion, and daily social content across brands
- On-site coverage of key event days (openings, press previews, signature nights)
- Fast-turnaround edits for time-sensitive social/story content
Principal Duties
- Film and edit short-form video content for Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, and other platforms, tailored to each brand's distinct voice
- Create or source supporting graphics for social posts
- Maintain and execute the social content calendar in coordination with the Director of Marketing
- Cover assigned on-site events for real-time and near-real-time content capture
- Monitor basic engagement and flag notable trends back to the Director
- Deliver content in formats/aspect ratios appropriate to each platform (reels, stories, in-feed)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Strong portfolio of short-form video work (social-native editing, not just long-form video)
- Proficiency with video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere/Rush, Cap Cut, or equivalent) and basic graphic design (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite)
- Comfortable working independently on-site at events, including evenings and weekends during peak season
- Ability to adapt tone and visual style across multiple sub-brands
- Reliable, fast turnaround on time-sensitive content
Work Conditions:Primarily remote/independent work for editing and planning; required on-site presence at assigned events (May–December), including evenings and weekends.
