About Chip

Chip is the first mass-market American robot. He just happens to be your car.

Chip is building a new category of vehicle. Most cars are engineered for highway
speeds and long-distance range. The reality is that 60% of daily trips are under
6 miles. Chip is built for those trips: fully electric, street-legal on roads up
to 35 mph, 100+ mile range, and made to fit the way people actually move through
their neighborhoods.

We're also launching Chip Go!, a remote-driving service that keeps your
vehicle moving when you're not inside it. Say the word and he'll go off to park
himself, run an errand, get cleaned, or come get you and the family. Rolling out
regionally.

We launched publicly in July 2026 and reservations are open nationally.

The role

Social is where most people will meet Chip for the first time. You own that.
You'll set the strategy, run the content calendar, publish, engage with the
community, read the analytics, and change course based on what the numbers say.
You'll also brief and manage the freelancers, creators, editors, agencies, and
production partners who support the function.

This job is strategic and hands‑on in equal measure. We're hiring a dedicated
videographer and editor alongside you, and that person owns capture,
multi‑camera setups, media management, and the edit. You own the strategy, the
calendar, the copy, the community, and the distribution, and you brief them. You
stay hands‑on for the fast reactive stuff that needs to go out in an hour.

Done well, this builds more than a feed. It builds a recognizable voice and an
audience that feels like it discovered something early and wants to bring other
people in.

You'll be based in Los Angeles or Miami. Content production, launches, events,
and brand moments happen anywhere in the country, sometimes on short notice, so
this role travels.

What you'll do
  • Own the social strategy. Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, X, Linked In, and anywhere else that starts to matter.
  • Run the calendar and ship against it. Publishing schedules, campaigns, recurring series, launch plans, and the day‑to‑day flow of what goes out.
  • Write everything. Captions, hooks, titles, calls to action, and anything elsethat goes out in Chip's voice.
  • Own the community. Comments, DMs, mentions, tags, and the conversations thatcome out of them.
  • Direct what gets shot. Brief the videographer and creators on what you need, why, and for which platform.
  • Shoot and cut it yourself when speed matters more than polish. The reactivepost that has to be live within the hour.
  • Move on trends. Platform changes, audience conversations, and culturalmoments, fast enough that we're in them rather than commenting on them.
  • Turn analytics into decisions. Real changes to creative direction, postingcadence, and distribution, not a monthly report nobody reads.
  • Build and run the bench. Hire, brief, schedule, and manage creators, editors, videographers, photographers, agencies, and contractors, hold the quality baron what they deliver, and keep relationships warm with the ones worth working with again.
  • Own the big moments. Launches, events, campaigns, company announcements, and milestones.
What you'll need
  • Four or more years managing social, producing content, or growing audiencesfor a consumer-facing brand, startup, creator, media company, or agency.
  • Extremely online. You know what's working on each platform right now, whichpost styles are dead, and which formats are about to be everywhere. You noticetrends before they have names.
  • Demonstrated audience growth. Show us the accounts and the numbers.
  • Excellent copywriting, hook writing, and brand voice instincts.
  • Strong short‑form video shooting and editing. You don't need to be the besteditor we hire, but you need to be able to cut something good on your own.
  • Experience running content calendars, multiple accounts, approvals, and publishing workflows.
  • Ability to read analytics and turn performance data into clear creativedecisions.
  • An eye for talent, and the ability to manage it. You can find the rightcreator, editor, or videographer for a specific job, get them interested, andget good work out of them.
  • Strategic enough to set direction, hands‑on enough to execute it personally, and…
