Position: Auditions for Anastasia: The Musical
Location: Northern

Production Overview Yocum Institute for Arts Education invites actors to audition for our winter production of Anastasia
, the sweeping Broadway musical inspired by the legend of Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov.

Blending history, mystery, romance, and unforgettable music, Anastasia follows a young woman on a journey to discover who she truly is. Set against the backdrop of the fall of the Russian Empire and the glamour of 1920s Paris, the musical explores themes of identity, family, hope, and belonging.

This production will feature a multi-generational cast, bringing together professional, emerging, and student artists in a collaborative educational environment. Depending on the audition pool, Yocum may cast a combination of professional, emerging, and student artists in principal and supporting roles. We are especially interested in creating meaningful opportunities for talented young performers while ensuring the strongest possible production. If appropriate, the roles of Anya, Dmitry, and Gleb may be shared between adult performers and student artists, with student artists performing designated performances and appearing as members of the ensemble for the remaining performances.

We are seeking passionate, collaborative actors who are committed to storytelling, artistic growth, and the rehearsal process. Whether you are an experienced professional, an emerging artist, or a dedicated young performer, we invite you to audition and become part of this unique theatrical experience. Yocum is located in West Lawn, just outside Reading, Pennsylvania, approximately 10-15 minutes from downtown Reading and about 1.5 hours from Philadelphia.

The position is ideal for candidates based in Berks County and the greater Reading area, while remaining within commuting distance of the Philadelphia region.
