Title of Position: NWS MAPS Producer
Department Name, location of department: Media Arts, Walter Hall, Pacific University Forest Grove Campus
Purpose of Position: MAPS Producers are hired to do media-related freelance work on projects for clients within and outside the university
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Apply learned skills to real-world work situations
Communicate effectively with clients to plan and execute various projects
Be self-motivated and apply project management skills to ensure projects are completed and delivered on-time
Work independently or in a team-setting to complete and submit deliverables
Be a professional face of the Media Arts Department and MAPS program
Attend MAPS meetings and one-on-one meetings as requested by the MAPS Manager

Qualifications:
We are looking for students who have skills in video, photography, graphic design, web design, illustration, visual arts, and/or other related multi-media disciplines. Students must be able to communicate effectively, utilize time-management skills, and execute projects from start to finish for various clients.
Length of employment: Full Academic Year. August 31, 2026 - May 14, 2027
Wage rate: Students are paid on a project-by-project basis
