JAW Artist Fellowship

Jaw Artist Fellowship: The Amen Institute is seeking visual artists of all Jewish backgrounds to participate in their 2nd cohort of the J.A.W. (Jewish Artist of the Week) Fellowship Participants will be paired with a rabbi to look at a section of the Torah with an emotionally sensitive lens and to bring relevancy to it through the creation of a poignant work of art.

Your art will be shared in the weekly distributions of our growing network of 43+ synagogues and Jewish media outlets.

All fellows will receive a $500 honorarium.

The Jewish Art Salon (JAS) is a 501.c.3 non-profit organization. It is a global network of contemporary visual artists and art professionals. Established in 2008 and based in New York City, JAS has over 400 members and over 2,000 participants. Through its 60+ shows, events and collaborations in the US, Europe and Israel, JAS has reached approximately 30,000 individuals since its inception.

JAS provides important programs and resources, and develops lasting partnerships with the international art community and the general public.
