Director of Worship & Media Ministries Light of Christ UMC

Light of Christ UMC, a progressive, active, missional, Reconciling United Methodist church in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Full-Time Director of Worship & Media Ministries. Preferred start date will be October 1, 2026, but timing may vary. Salary range: $48,000 – $52,000 annually, depending upon experience.

The Director of Worship & Media Ministries provides leadership for both the Worship and Media Ministries of Light of Christ United Methodist Church. This individual partners with the Lead Pastor, Worship Design Team, staff, and volunteers to create engaging, Christ-centered worship experiences while ensuring effective communication and outreach through media, technology, and digital platforms.

Worship and media are vital to the church’s mission of making disciples and fostering spiritual growth. The staff member in this role is responsible for planning and leading contemporary worship, developing multimedia content, managing communications, overseeing technology systems, and expanding the church’s online presence. The Director will cultivate and equip teams of volunteers, ensuring excellence in worship, technology, communications, and media ministries.
