Who We're Looking For - Content Editor, Reviews.org

If you love helping people navigate their everyday lives through clear, practical, and engaging content, you've come to the right place. As a Content Editor at Clearlink, you will edit and publish reader-first content that supports our editorial strategy and drives our brand and business goals. You'll work alongside editors, writers, and cross-functional partners to maintain quality standards and consistency across everything we publish.

We need someone who edits for clarity and proper usage, notices the little details, juggles multiple projects at once, gives clear written and verbal feedback, and always meets deadlines. You should also love working collaboratively with writers and other team members to create the best content possible.

Clearlink is a remote-friendly company, prioritizing virtual and in-person collaboration. This is a remote-first role for candidates who are located outside of Utah and outside of commuting distance. For candidates residing within 50 miles of our Salt Lake City, Utah office, a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days in-office is required.

The Impact You Will Make
  • Write and edit content to maintain quality standards, accuracy, and consistency across the site.
  • Execute the editorial strategy as defined by editorial leadership, including standards in methodology, research, and publishing.
  • Upload and publish content using our content management system (Word Press).
  • Support content planning by contributing original ideas and helping refine pitches to align with the editorial mission and business goals.
  • Apply SEO best practices to help content perform well across organic channels (search, social, email, referral).
  • Support content reporting by maintaining accurate content inventories and drawing insights from performance data to inform the content plan.
  • Collaborate with editors, writers, SEO specialists, designers, and project managers to move projects to the finish line.
  • Give and receive candid, constructive feedback with teammates and leadership.
  • Champion reader-first editing and writing best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects at once and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Use subject-matter expertise and news judgment to level up our content, and learn from competitors' content.
What You Bring
  • 5-6 years of writing and/or editing experience.
  • Experience in advertising, online marketing, journalism, media, news, or publishing is a plus.
  • A foundation in journalism, digital media, or digital marketing, with a portfolio of consumer-focused content.
  • Ability to edit quickly and efficiently while maintaining high content quality.
  • Familiarity with AP style and a strong eye for clarity, grammar, and usage.
  • Experience giving feedback to writers through both written comments and face-to-face conversation.
  • Familiarity with a CMS (Word Press a plus).
  • A working understanding of how SEO, social, email, and PPC interact with editorial content.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar reporting tools and how to report on content performance.
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to self-manage your time.
  • A collaborative mindset and the willingness to share ideas openly with writers, designers, and other team members.
  • A growth mindset and openness to feedback.
